BLACK LAB CAUGHT IN SNARE TRAP

The day before Thanksgiving this young black lab innocently put her nose into a snare trap. For days she tried to release the trap not knowing her efforts only caused the wires to tighten. She could not eat or drink. She was loosing blood and slowly her snout was being cut off.
A rescue group posted a plea for help to catch the dog. Saturday, the dog was caught, transported to the vet, had surgery and is going to survive thanks to a team of rescue groups coming together to help this dog. There were many amazing people involved in this rescue and our thanks go out to all of them. Pets in Crisis were one step is this little girl’s rescue. She will go to her new rescue with a new name (Trea) and a new beginning. She has a long recovery ahead of her, physically and emotionally. With a lot of support and love our girl Trea will continue to amaze us each day. .
